For example, the extruded deformation material is subjected to the three-way stress state in the deformation area, which is conducive to the plastic deformation of the material, that is, the material has better formability under this deformation condition. In the same way, reasonable design of rolling pass and reasonable design of ingot force (closed die forging or close die forging) can optimize the stress of magnesium alloy in the deformation process, and play a positive role of compressive stress in deformation area on material formability.


Formability of magnesium alloy plate. Depends on microstructure, chemical composition, preprocessing history and response to processing temperature, strain rate and strain. The response can be characterized by the curve of flow stress as a function of temperature strain rate and strain, or by the equation of cardinality.
