Magnesium alloy etching plate and zinc plate, copper plate are mainly compared from the following aspects:
1.plate making time
So the plate making process of the hot stamping plate is basically the same. The main difference is the etching time. With the same pattern and the same required etching depth, it takes 5 minutes for the magnesium plate, 25 minutes for the zinc plate, and more than 30 minutes for the copper plate.
2.Hardness
Hardness is the main technical parameter to measure the hot stamping version. When the temperature is below 50℃, the hardness of magnesium plate is 92, zinc plate is 36, and copper plate is 96. When the plate is heated to 100℃, the hardness of magnesium plate is 90, zinc plate is 30, and copper plate is 88. It can be seen that the hardness change of the magnesium plate is minimal when the temperature required for bronzing is reached. This directly affects the number of prints. Under the same conditions, the prints of magnesium plates and copper plates are both more than 200,000 times, while those of zinc plates are less than 50,000 times.
3.Cost and bronzing effect
First is the cost of plate making. In the case of the same area, the same thickness, and the same requirements, the cost of using magnesium plate is 30% lower than that of zinc plate and 70% lower than that of copper plate. In the bronzing production process, the production cost of magnesium plate is 10% lower than that of zinc plate and copper plate.
The second is the bronzing effect. After the magnesium alloy etching plate is made, the slope is suitable, the edge is sharp, and the hardness is high. In the hot production process, the heating and cooling are fast. The surface of the substrate after bronzing is very bright, which is the same as the copper plate. Far more than zinc sheet.
Magnesium alloy etching plate supply situation
The demand for magnesium alloy etching plates is huge, but the supply situation has been in a monopolistic state. Magnesium Elektro (Yili Kechuang Magnesium Industry Group) company began to produce magnesium alloy etching plates as early as 40 years ago. Its products are spread all over the world and have always been in a monopoly on the market. As import prices are too high and domestic environmental protection requirements are not strict, zinc and copper plates have been used in the domestic market.
The technical barriers to the production of magnesium alloy etched plates are mainly the production of plate bases, that is, the production of magnesium alloy plates. At present, there are two main methods for the production of magnesium plates: the traditional rolling process method and the double-roll casting process method (the width of the extrusion method is limited and will not be analyzed for the time being). However, since the magnesium alloy etched plate has very high requirements on the performance of the plate base, only the rolled magnesium plate produced by the traditional rolling process, that is, the deformed magnesium alloy plate, can be used. In addition, the alloying requirements of the magnesium alloy etching plate base, that is, the requirements of magnesium alloy ingots are also very high.
At present, domestic enterprises have broken through the technical barriers of rolling magnesium alloy sheet processing, and have completely independent intellectual property rights. They have built a professional magnesium alloy sheet rolling production line, with an annual output of 200 tons of magnesium alloy etched sheets. Make China the second country in the world that has an enterprise capable of producing and supplying magnesium alloy etching plates.
