What is the difference between magnesium alloy etched plate and zinc and copper plate?
I believe that some people have used copper plates to make printing. Of course, the more widely used printing plates are copper plates and zinc plates, but the environmental protection aspects of these two kinds of plates are not very good, so magnesium alloy etching plates were born. Now, today I will talk to you about the difference between magnesium alloy etched plates and copper and zinc plates.
1. Short time cost
The plate making process of all bronzing plates is basically the same, the main difference is the etching time. With the same pattern, the same required etching depth,
It takes 5 minutes for the magnesium plate, 25 minutes for the zinc plate, and more than 30 minutes for the copper plate.
2. High hardness
Hardness is the main technical parameter to measure the hot stamping plate. Below 50°C, the hardness of magnesium plate is 92, zinc plate is 36, and copper plate is 96. When the plate is heated to 100°C, the hardness of the magnesium plate is 90, the zinc plate is 30, and the copper plate is 88. It can be seen that when the temperature required for bronzing is reached, the hardness of the magnesium plate changes the least, which directly affects the number of printings. Under the same conditions, the printing capacity of the magnesium plate and the copper plate is more than 200,000 times, while the zinc plate is less than 50,000 times.
3. Low cost
The bronzing effect is good. In the case of the same area, the same thickness and the same requirements, the cost of using magnesium plate is 30% lower than that of zinc plate, and 70% lower than that of copper plate. In the process of bronzing production, the production cost of magnesium plate is 10% lower than that of zinc plate and copper plate; in terms of bronzing effect, magnesium alloy etched plate has suitable slope, sharp edge and high hardness after plate making, and it is heated during the bronzing production process. Fast, fast cooling, the surface of the substrate after bronzing is very bright, the effect is the same as that of copper plate, far more than that of zinc plate.
However, although this magnesium alloy etched plate has advantages over copper plate and zinc plate, this advantage and this magnesium alloy etched plate have not been well popularized, which is also a pity or disadvantage.
